Congratulations on your engagement! Planning your wedding ceremony is an exciting journey filled with love and joy. However, with so many details to consider, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Not to worry! ! We've crafted a wedding ceremony planning timeline and checklist to help you manage this special time with ease.  Keep in mind that you may need to adjust the timing and tasks based on your specific needs and preferences.

 

 6-12 Months Before the Wedding:

1. Set a Date: Choose a date for your wedding ceremony.

2. Create a Budget: Determine your budget early on to guide your planning decisions

3. Select a Venue: Find and book a venue for the ceremony.

4. Choose Officiant: Decide who will officiate the ceremony and confirm their availability.

5. Draft Guest List: Start compiling a list of guests you want to invite to the ceremony.

6. Research and book vendors: Begin researching and contacting vendors such as wedding planner, decorator  florists, musicians, photographers, and caterers.

7. Select Attire: Begin shopping for your wedding attire, including the bride's dress, groom's attire, and attire for the wedding party.

8. Create a Registry: If desired, create a wedding registry.

9. Send SavetheDates: Send out savethedate cards to notify guests of your wedding date.
 

3-6 Months Before the Wedding:

 

As your wedding day draws nearer, focus on finalizing key details:

 

 Finalize Your Guest List: finalize your guest list and send out invitations.

 Plan Ceremony Details: Work with your officiant to craft a ceremony that reflects your love story.

 Arrange Transportation: Arrange transportation for you and your wedding party to and from the ceremony venue.

 Select Ceremony Music: Choose music for the ceremony, including processional, recessional, and any other special moments.

 Order Wedding Rings: Purchase wedding rings for the bride and groom.

 

 Confirm Vendor Details: Confirm details with all vendors, including arrival times and setup instructions.

 Arrange Rehearsal Dinner: Plan and schedule a rehearsal dinner for the night before the wedding.


 

12 Months Before the Wedding:

 

 Meet with Your Officiant: Schedule meetings with your officiant to finalize ceremony logistics.

 Obtain your marriage license  

Finalize Seating Plan: Create a seating plan for your ceremony if needed.

 Confirm Details: Confirm final details with all vendors and the venue.

1 Week Before the Wedding:

Pack for Wedding Night: Pack a bag for your wedding night if you're staying elsewhere.

1Day of the Wedding:

 Get Ready: Begin your day with hair, makeup, and getting dressed.

Eat Breakfast: Eat a healthy breakfast to fuel you for the day ahead.

 Arrive Early: Arrive at the ceremony venue ahead of schedule to ensure everything is in order.

Relax: Take some time to relax and enjoy the moment before the ceremony begins.

Say "I Do": Finally, it's time to exchange vows and say "I do"!

 Celebrate: Celebrate with your loved ones at the reception following the ceremony.
